Locks Garage

LOCK'S GARAGE: Private airstrip

Location: In/near Allensmore on the junction of the A465 and B4348, about 3nm SW of Hereford city centre

Period of operation: 1990s only?

Runway: 18/36 grass

NOTES: Not to be confused with AALLENSMORE Airstrip to the NNE. Lock's Garage was, in 2017 at least, very much in business but a look at the location on Google Earth (picture date 2006) appears to show no obvious signs of a runway nearby. If anybody can kindly offer advice on this site, this will be most welcome.
