Operated by:  Mr Tim Goodwin

Location:  S of the B1027, about 1nm E of St Osyth, 1.5nm NW of CLACTON airfield

Period of operation:  1989 to -

Runway:   09/27   760   grass

NOTES:  In my original listing I had mentioned: "If anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this will be most welcome". In August 2021 I was kindly contacted by Mr Tim Goodwin who operates LODGE FARM and has an Auster based there. At that time one other aircraft was based there but space was available for two more.

Tim tells us that the first logged flight was on the 20th May 1989 and the strip has been in constant use since.

He also mentions that although visitors are not generally accepted, exceptions may be possible. Mainly because nearby CLACTON has much better facilities for visitors. Although this 'Guide' does not normally provide contact details, Tim has said he is quite happy to provide these - and what are rules for if they cannot be bent?
