Note: The first two pictures were obtained from Google Earth ©. The area view is from my Google Earth © derived database.

Location:  Just S/SE of Mileham village, about 5.5nm NW of Dereham town centre

Period of operation:  Unknown?  Perhaps 1968 to 1975?

Runway:  Possibly (?)   07/25   490   grass

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide' to thank for pointing out this location. He tells us that from 1968 to 1975 a Thruxton Jackaroo and a Currie Wot were based here.

What has interested me is, that looking at the Google Earth © pictures above, it would seem that signs of the airstrip still exist? Providing a demarkation between two fields?  All pure conjecture of course, but, it does seem to fit perfectly. (And into the prevailing wind).

As always in this 'Guide', if anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this will be much appreciated.
