Location:  Just E of the M40, S to SW of Ayhno, 5.5nm SW to WSW of Brackley town centre and 6nm SE to SE of Banbury town centre

Period of operation:  1962 to 1969 only?

NOTES:  It was Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide' who told me that G-AREO was based at Lower Aynho throughout most of the 1960s. G-AREO is a Piper PA-18 Super Cub 150, and I believe, still flying. This said, being a 'rag-wing' Piper, a hangar, barn or similar must have been provided for storage.

It was registered to Mr Douglas N Stewart from 09.08.62 to 08.05.69, and the address was - Lower Aynho Grounds, Banbury. It seems likely that once he had sold it the strip probably became disused? As always in this 'Guide', if anybody can kindly offer advice this will be most welcome.
