Location: S of Croughton village, just W of RAF CROUGHTON, about 3.5nm SW of Brackley town centre
Period of operation: 1990s (?) to -
Runways: 16/34 280 grass 09/27 240 grass
NOTES: It was quite a conundram, starting this 'Guide' over twenty years ago, as to how to define the wide variety of flying sites listed. I doubt the problem will ever be fully resolved. But, I have decided that an airstrip (singular) is just that. A similar kind of site, (such as this), with more than one runway, being defined as an airfield.
As always in this 'Guide', if anybody can kindly offer advice regarding this flying site, this will be much appreciated.
