Note:  This map only gives the position of Dalton-in-Furness within the UK. If anybody can kindly provide a more exact location for this venue, this will be most welcome.

MANOR FARM: Temporary flying exhibition site

Operated by: Henri Salmet

Location: Near to Dalton-in-Furness, NE of Barrow-in-Furness

Period of operation: August 31st 1912

NOTES: Salmet arrived here on the Saturday and did do a ‘stunt’ flying display after arriving, but being unwell failed to display on the Monday, the day actually scheduled for a ‘flying display’ or ‘exhibition’ of flying. Typical of those days no flying took place on the Sunday, but his machine was placed on display, all proceeds regarding entrance fees being donated to the North Lonsdale Hospital.
