Marden Hill Farm

Note: This map only shows a probable location within the UK.

MARDEN HILL FARM: Private airstrip?

Operated by: AJEP Developments

Location: Near Hertford

Period of operation: 1970s only?

NOTES: I’m taking a guess here about this airstrip existing but I think it is justified? The ‘evidence’ comes from Ron Smiths British Built Aircraft Vol.3 in which he states, “AJEP Developments of The Lodge, Marden Hill Farm, near Hertford, marketed a modified Wittman Tailwind developed by A J E  Perkins in the mid 1970s.” The first demonstrator was G-AYDU.
