Location: Just SW of Marston Trussell village, S of the A4304, about 3nm WSW of Market Harborough town centre
Period of operation: Circa 2009 (?) to -
Runway: 08/26 410 grass
NOTES: The pictures above clearly show that this is a fairly recent airstrip which is being developed. The hangar only appearing after 2015. All such endeavours must be firmly applauded - it shows a future away from increasingly expensive traditional aerodromes. So many of which are under threat from developers who have absolutely no interest in our history and heritage.
I find it interesting in the greater scheme of things, to imagine where such people can be placed in our social order? For some, probably many (?), people to be admired, having very posh houses and cars. For others, like myself - utter scum. Not that I am biased of course.
