Location:  W of the A37, about 4nm SSE of Yeovil town centre

Period of operation:  1990s (?) to -


Runway:  2020:  04/22   565   grass


NOTES:  This airstrip is only just within DORSET.

It is only a minor detail, but looking at the pictures above the runway does appear to vary a bit in length over the years. This of course is not uncommon with grass strips.

Is that fact that the runway side markers in the 2020 picture do not extend into the SW end of the runway have any significance? It certainly looks as if that area is still useable. As always in this 'Guide', if anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.
