NOTES:  The 1932 Sir Alan Cobham's National Aviation Day display tour commenced at HANWORTH aerodrome, SW London, on the 12th April, and terminated at CHINGFORD in ESSEX on the 16th October. Some 173 venues were scheduled to be visited, and it appears they managed to arrive on time for nearly all of them! A remarkable achievement. This venue was the 66th display.

To date, (in early 2023), the exact venue location for the 1933 visit to Preston has not been found. It is only probable that they used the METE HOUSE FARM location? If anybody can kindly offer advice or information, this will be most welcome.
