Location: N of the A338, E of the A347, about 1nm NW of Bournemouth town centre

 

NOTES: Apparently used by a number of early aviators visiting Bournemouth but possibly most famous at around that period when Henri Salmet delivered Father Christmas in the winter of 1913. Somebody noticed that the Managing Director of the Beales department store seemed to be absent from his office, but did they guess what he was up to?
