Operated by: Park Farm

Location:  Just WNW of Middlesham village, about 1.5nm S to SSW of Leyburn

Period of operation: From 2007 perhaps?

Runway (2017):  09/27   900   grass

NOTES: It appears the Piper PA-32-300 Cherokee 6, N2989M, was possibly based here for many years?  It was, (still is?), often used for ferrying horse race jockeys to various meetings around the UK, and perhaps to Eire and other locations in western Europe?

Looking at Google Earth it clearly shows that nothing much existed here in the very early 2000s. This amazing complex has been built since, and very quickly, it being largely in place by 2009, complete with airstrip.
