Location:  Just SSW of Northampton town centre

Period of operation:  Possibly just from the 22nd May to the 3rd June 1920?

NOTES:  We have to thank Mike Holder, a great friend of this 'Guide' for unearthing this location. Mill Road is now known as St James Mill Road.

Even in 1920, 'aerodromes' such as this, even for temporary use, were required to be licensed by the Air Ministry. And it appears a license was approved on the 22nd April 1920.

So far at least, we have not found any evidence of the site being used after this event. But of course, does anybody know more?
