Note:  I made the mistake of zooming in too closely on Google Earth © for the first set of four pictures. As can now be seen, taking a longer aspect view, in 2022, a very different picture emerges.

Location: Just S of the A17, just N/NW of Heckington village, about  4nm E/ESE of Sleaford town centre

Period of operation:   From about 2005 to -

Runway:     07/25   350   grass

However, see pictures above, it appears that from around 2005 to 2010, a much longer runway, just S of the strip, was laid out.

This being 07/25   780   grass

NOTES: An AAIB report EW/G2007/12/12 appears to suggest that the Pegasus Quick G-CEML was (probably?) based at HECKINGTON. It was reported as being the pilots departure airfield, and the one to which he was returning.

If anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this will be most welcome.
