Miserden

Note: This map only shows the position of Miserden within the UK.

MISERDEN: Temporary landing site?

Location: In/near Miserden village about 2.5nm W of the A419, roughly 6nm NW of Cirencester

Period of operation: 2000s only?

'Runways': 04/22   450   grass        13/31   390   grass

NOTES: Info source AAIB report EW/G2005/10/15. Having had a good look on Google Earth, with various image dates, I can find no evidence of any 'defined' runways in the vicinity of Miserden.

I suspect only a covenient field was being used, albiet a rather small one and unsuitable for use at the time. If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.
