Location:  About 1nm SSW of Debden village, roughly 4nm SSE of Saffron Walden town centre

Period of operation:  1970s and 1980s

NOTES:  I have Mr Trevor Sexton to thank for information regarding this airstrip. He tells us that there was a hangar halfway along the strip. My placemark for a building that just might have been the hangar is pure guesswork. More an excuse for mentioning that hangars even on little known sites can outlast the original use by a great many years. Indeed, another example of one was found recently, still being used and looking in good condition, built in the 1930s.

If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.
