NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location.

The de Havilland DH82A Tiger Moth, G-ADIA, is now registered, (in 2023 at least), as being based here. First registered in 1935, this was to de Havilland at HATFIELD, but based at WHITE WALTHAM from 13.08. 35 until 30.10.40. It was then impressed as BB747. Having survived in RAF service during WW2, (a great many Tiger Moths did not of course), it was re-registered to Brooklands Aviation from 08.05.46 until 28.07.63.

As far as I can make out, it has been flying almost continuously since? A quite remarkable achievement along the way for any Tiger Moth, and still going strong, (in 2023 at any rate), eighty eight years later.

As always, if anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this is most welcome. Pictures are always much appreciated.
