Location:  0.75nm ESE of Moreton Pinkney village. About 6nm W of Towcester town centre and roughly 9nm NE of Banbury town centre

Period of operation:  Unknown exactly, no sign of it in 2017


Flying area (runway):    About 155 x 75   grass

NOTES:
We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location.

It has been my intention from the start, to feature model flying sites. Especially because the early development of fixed wing aircraft would not have been possible without models. For example please have a look at the listing for BROMPTON HALL where Sir George Caley started his flying model experiments in 1799. Plus of course, up to the present day, models in wind tunnels are much in use to determine future developments in aviation.
