Location: In Belfast, referred to as Belfast Harbour. Just W to NW of BELFAST CITY AIRPORT (now GEORGE BEST BELFAST CITY AIRPORT), which was previously known as SYDENHAM.


NOTES: Sept 24th to 4th Oct 1928. Imperial Airways operated an ‘experimental’ airline service from the River Mersey in Liverpool.
 

In August 1932 British Flying Boats Ltd operated for one week only a regular return flight from GREENOCK commencing on the 15th.

I could well be mistaken, but I think the north bank is in County Antrim and the south bank is in County Down? Needless to say the 'barmy army' of local administrators have, over the years, sought to disguise this.
