MYRETON of CLAVERHOUSE: Private airstrip

Location: Roughly 5nm N of Dundee city centre, fairly close to the site of the later WW2 RAF aerodrome TEALING

Period of operation: 1932 to 1936
 

Runway:   265   grass
 

NOTES: It was here that Mr Powrie, a founding member of the Strathtay Aero Club based his Avro Avian G-AAHK.
