Note: All three of these pictures were obtained from Google Earth ©

Operated by:  H G Helicopters

Location: On, or next to, the Grigorhill Industrial Estate, about 1nm SE of Nairn town centre

Period of operation:  ?

NOTES:  This seems all rather perplexing, and as the years pass by I find I'm getting increasingly perplexicated. This is a good example for my perplexification.

Any advice, kindly offered, will be much appreciated. It appears from the pictures above that this location looks to be exactly what I would expect. But, notice the absence of any cars, let alone helicopters, in the 2009 picture.

It would appear, crawling across the inter-web, that H G Helicopters are still in business. But, looking at the 2019 picture, this hardly looks like a functioning heliport.

In August 2021 I was kindly contacted by Mr Martin Coulson who visited the site a few years back with a friend. Several airframes were being worked on, but they assumed they had been delivered by road? He tells us that there were no signs of the heliport being in use.
