NAISH FARM: Private airstrip
Location: In/near Clapton-in-Gordano probably just W of the M5, about 7nm W of Bristol city centre
Period of operation: 2001 to 2005
Runway: 08/26 600 grass
NOTES: According to the AAIB accident report EW/G2005/04/03 only the ARV Super 2 G-TARV used this strip. The report makes for sombre reading because it appears that the strip was basically unsuitable for use by an ARV Super 2. Eventually the pilot/owner cut his margins too fine and on the 30th April 2005, was killed attempting to take-off.
