Note: Both of these pictures were obtained from Google Earth ©

Location:  About 3.5nm NE of Market Drayton town centre, 10nm WSW of Stoke-on-Trent town centre

Period of operation:  2017 to 2020?

Runway:  11/29   355   grass

NOTES:  We have Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide' for pointing out this airstrip. I was initially rather sceptical, by Graham came up with evidence that put my doubts to rest. Namely the registered address of the owner of the Just Superstol G-HONO.

I was looking for some evidence such as a hangar, but this aircraft can quickly have its wings folded, and the first picture shows that it could easily towed, (or indeed taxied?), to safe storage in the farm just north of the strip. As this owner had this aircraft from March 2017 to August 2020, does this mean the airstrip was no longer used?

As always in this 'Guide' if anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.
