NOTES: The Air Ambulance service in Wales was, in 2019, undergoing a major expansion of facilities regarding the provision of helipads suitable for use 24/7. It appears, looking at news reports, that only three hospitals in Wales, prior to this programme, could provide for night landings.
This would seem to be an astonishing state of affairs in the 21st century.
