Operated by:  The North Cadbury Court Country House Venue

Location:  About 0.5nm WSW of the venue, which is just SW of North Cadbury village, N of the A303. About 1.5nm ENE of Sparkford, 5nm W to WSW of Wincanton town centre and roughly 8.5nm NE of Yeovil town centre

Period of operation:  Unknown exactly? No sign of it in 2001

Runway:  10/28   500   grass

Note:  Listed as being 550 metres, but as a pilot I would say 500 metres max.

NOTES:  We have to thank Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide' for pointing out this location. Although seeming to be listed as an airstrip and helipad, I would have thought that helicopter pilots would much prefer to deliver their passengers onto the large grass area just south of the venue? Have to wonder how many times the airstrip has been used?

If anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this will be most welcome.
