Note:  All four of these pictures were obtained from Google Earth ©

Location:  Just W of North Lopham village, about 5.5nm WNW of Diss and 10nm E of Thetford town centre

Period of operation:  1970s (?) to around 2019?

Runway:  1999   09/27   480   grass       Later:  09/27   430   grass
Note:  The later runway, see pictures above, was immediately north and parallel to the earlier runway

NOTES:  I am not at all sure, looking at Google Earth images after 2019, if this airstrip is still being used? As always in this 'Guide', if anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.

It appears that the Auster J/1 Autocrat G-AIPG was based here from 28.07.67 until 30/10/73. Then becoming PWFU (Permanently Withdrawn From Use).
