NOTES: Situated in/near Eastleigh it appears that Mr Eric Rowland Moon used ‘meadows’ for flight trials of his Moonbeam II aircraft between 1910 and 1912. Is anything else known - like how successful was this aircraft? See also WEBSTERS FIELD.
