North Walsham

Note: This map only gives the position of North Walsham within the UK. If anybody can kindly provide a more exact location for this venue, this advice will be most welcome.

NORTH WALSHAM: Temporary aerodrome?

NOTES: On the 25th September 1933 Sir Alan Cobham’s No.2 Tour displayed in/near North Walsham which is on the A149 about 13nm NNE of Norwich city centre. I suppose there must have been a sensible reason (?) but the day before they displayed at Heacham near Hunstanton and the day before that East Dereham. The next day after appearing at North Walsham they displayed at Ely then flew on to Bungay.
