Note:  The 2015 picture shows where Norton Fields farm is situated. The aerial detail in 2016 certainly appears to show the airfield was by then disused.

Location:  E of the A444, just N of Norton-Juxta-Twycross village, just SE of Appleby Magna village. About 7.5nm SW of Coalville town cntre, about 7.5nm ENE of Tamworth town centre. Roughly 11nm NW of Hinkley town centre

Period of operation:  Unknown? There is no evidence of it in 2000, and by 2016 appearing to be disused

Runways:   06/24   460   grass          17/35   400   grass

NOTES:  Looking at various images on Google Earth © there appears to be a taxiway leading from the junction of the two runways south to Norton Fields farm. Where presumably an aircraft, or more, were kept? If anybody can kindly offer advice and information this will be most welcome. Pictures are of course much appreciated.
