Operated by: Mr S R Young

Location: 1.5nm W of the A37, 1.5nm S of Whitchurch

Period of operation: 1970s to 1990s?

Runway:  05/23   550x24   grass

NOTES: In the mid 1970s it appears that only the Robin DR400/140 G-BBAX was based here.

On Google Earth in recent years there is an airstrip just south of Norton Malreward known as PENSFORD. (See seperate listing). But, can it be assumed that this is the same airstrip? Experience has taught me to be very wary of jumping to such conclusions. Any advice will be most welcome.
