Notgrove

Note: This map only gives the position of Notgrove village within the UK.

NOTGROVE: Private airstrip

Operated by: Mr M B Mavroleon?

Location: In/near Notgrove just S of the A436, about 3nm W to WSW of Bourton-on-the-Water

Period of operation: 1970s only?

NOTES: In the mid 1970s it seems the only aircraft based here was Cessna 182P G-BAMJ.

It is of course tempting to think this could perhaps be UPPER HARFORD airstrip just to the ENE of Notgrove village? If anybody can kindly offer advice on this subject, it will be most welcome.
