Location: 10nm ESE of Nottingham city centre, adjacent to the A46 at Widmerpool
NOTES: I have no idea when this 'NOTTINGHAM HELIPORT' came into operation and would welcome advice. Clearly not associated with the original NOTTINGHAM HELIPORT.
One thing is certain, going back through Google Earth images, it wasn't there in 2011. But, isn't it great to see new flying sites being created, especially one as developed as this, being created in the 21st century when generally the picture for the UK is of flying sites being closed down. As often as not for housing development.
