OLD HEATON: Military Landing Ground   (also known as CORNHILL)

Location: W of Old Heaton, near Castle Heaton, S of the River Till, about 4nm ENE of Coldstream but closer to Cornhill-on-Tweed just E of Coldstream on the junction of the A698 and A697

Period of operation: 1917

 

NOTES: According to RFC documents the site name was spelt OLD HETON  - perhaps a spelling mistake?
