Old Hill

Note: This map only gives the position of Rowley Regis within the UK. A search for the BSR company address has failed. If anybody can kindly offer advice and information regarding this site, this will be most welcome.

OLD HILL: Company helipad

Operated by: BSR  (Birmingham Sound Reproducers)

Location: In Old Hill, just S of Rowley Regis, roughly S of the A461 (?), about 2nm N of Halesowen

NOTES: From February 1968, (it is said), BSR operated for a short time a Bell Jet Ranger G-AVTE to ferry execs, (and probably favoured customers?), from ELMDON / BIRMINGHAM airport to this site.

BSR was yet another British company which failed to adjust to the ever-changing times.
