Note:  These pictures are from my Google Earth © derived database.

Operated by:  Ms Charlotte V Dadswell

Location:  Just SE of Lurgashall village, about 3.5nm NW of Petworth town centre

Period of operation:  From 2017 to -
Note:  The hangar was constructed, (see the 2020 picture above), for G-AKUO to move in.

Runway:   04/22   230   grass
Note:  According to the Google Earth © measure, 210 metres around 2021.

NOTES:  Most of the initial information came from an article in the March 2023 edition of Light Aviation magazine. This location now being the base for the Aeronca 11BC Chief, G-AKUO, (ex N9730E). In 2023, (and hopefully for years to come), Ms Dadswell was the CFI for the Goodwood Flying School.

However, seeing as this 'Guide' is mainly devoted to our aviation history, she mentions that her father once had the Aeronca 11AC Chief, G-IVOR, (ex EI-BKB), based here. Records show this was from March 1984 until August 1986.

In August 2023, Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', found this picture, captioned:  "First landing 15th August 2017". The hangar at that time of course, far from being completed.
