Orston microlight

ORSTON:  Microlight airfield

Location: Roughly halfway between Orston and Alverton villages and NW of the WW2 RAF ORSTON site

Period of operation:  2000s only?

Runways:   03/21   360   grass                12/30   255   grass

NOTES: In late 2017 I was kindly contacted by Michael Bajcar who informed me about this airfield in some detail. Looking at Google Earth I could not be completely certain about the location and the runways - but nothing else seemed to be feasible on this area.

Michael told me that to his knowledge just one aircraft is based here - the Skyranger Swift G-EGGZ. However, living nearby, he said it seems that the site often seems to have other visitors.
