Location:  Just W of the A1(M), just SSE of Wentbridge village, about 4nm SE to SSE of Pontefract town centre

Period of operation: Not known exactly. No sign of it in 2002. Presumably still operational in 2022 at least?

Runway:  Main runway -   16/34   390   grass

However, looking at the pictures above, it seems that when originally laid out, this airfield has two runways just E of the main runway.

These being:  09/27   260   grass       and       08/26   230   grass

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide' to thank for pointing out this location. He also mentions that it appears that the TL2000UK Sting Carbon G-CGPO was based here. Perhaps from February 2010 to October 2018?

As always in this 'Guide', if anybody can kindly offer advice and information this will be most welcome. Pictures of course are always much appreciated.
