Location: About 1nm SW of Preston Capes village and roughly 5.5nm S of Daventry town centre

Runways:  2010:  09/27   330   grass          01/19   330   grass

A search on Google Earth (2017) revealed a most unusual arrangement with three runways clearly evident, but placed in two seperate fields.
In the west field there are two runways (as of 2015):  18/36   183  grass          08/26   320   grass
In the east field:   01/19   335   grass

Featured in the BBC 2 programme shown on the 23rd January 2012 ‘The Real Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines’ as the departure and finishing point for a three-day ‘Round Britain Rally’ for microlights.


A COMPETITION
Listed in 2016 as hosting, on the 23rd and 24th July, a BMAA Microlight Competition.
