Location: Just E of the A16, probably just N of the road called Queens Bank. Near Crowland but just E/ENE of the better known CROWLAND airfield and gliding site. 5nm SSE of Spalding town centre and 12nm ENE of Peterborough city centre 

Period of operation: 1970s to 1980s only?

 

NOTES: It seems that only the Piper PA-28 Cherokee 180 G-AVRU was based here? This was registered to Fenland Tractors from 10.06.74 to 06.12.83.

We have to thank Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', for giving a very good idea of where this airstrip was situated.
