NOTES: This venue near Redditch was used by Sir Alan Cobham’s No.1 Tour on the 29th July 1933. It appears the aviators were welcomed by Mr B Woodbridge, the Chairman of the Redditch Urban District Council, who, with other members and officials of the Council, afterwards took a trip in an air-liner. This would have been either of the Handley Page W.10 types used, G-EBMM and G-EBMR, or perhaps the Handley Page HP.35 Clive G-ABYX.

A PREVIOUS VISIT TO REDDITCH
Redditch was a 'control' in the Birmingham Air Race in August 1913. The two aircraft in the race landed, so please see my entry for this event for further information.
