Redrock

REDROCK:  Private microlight airstrip

Note:  Both of these pictures were obtained from Google Earth ©

Location:  S of the A28, roughly 2.5nm WNW of Markethill and about 4.5nm SE of Armagh town centre

Period of operation:  From the early 2000s (?) to -

Runway:  01/19   210 (300?)   grass

NOTES:  As can be seen from the Google Earth pictures, gaps in three hedges seperating four small fields have been made to enable this 210 metre long runway to be laid out. What does not appear clear is if the runway extends into the northern field? If so, the runway could be up to 300 metres long.

Any advice and information will be most welcome.
