Note:   All six of these pictures were obtained from Google Earth ©

Operated by:  Mr Howard M Owen

Location:  S of the A48, just SE of Foelgastell village, about 1nm NW of Cross Hands village and about 9nm ESE of Carmarthen town centre

Period of operation:  After 2006 to -

Runway:   Initially 07/25   170   grass

Later and in addition(c. 2015) and just NW:   06/24   400   grass

It appears from the third picture above that this was shortened to 330 metres circa 2018

NOTES:  It appears that Mr Owen built and registered in 2005, the Ikarus C42 G-CDPP, which he has based here. I was very much impressed by this design and much regret never having flown one. It holds several records for its class, and one thing is quite certain, owners love to fly them.

As always in this 'Guide', if anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome. Pictures are especially welcome of course.
