NOTES:  In May 2020 I was kindly contacted by Mr Terry Clark, who has been a great help over the years. He has been researching the history of a film, which appears to be 'Gunbus' released c.1986. He was working with ATC at FARNBOROUGH.

They had heard that a film was being made near Ripley and often saw the aircraft on their radar, flying down at low level, and presumably from WHITE WALTHAM? So, he decided to fly across and have a look and sure enough there was a big tent rather like a circus big-top with some WW1, (presumably replicas?), aircraft parked around the tent.  The 'landing runs' being used were quite clearly visible.

In those days of course the A3 (now the B2215) passed through Ripley village. The 'new' dual-carriageway passes across the southern part of the field being used.

If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.
