Location: Just to W and SW of Chester city centre

Period of operation:  Saturday 15th November to Saturday 22nd November, except for Sunday 16th.

NOTES:  As far as Mike Holder and I can find, this singular event in November 1919, seems to be the only time fixed wing aircraft visited this location? If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.

NOTE:  I had expected to find a permanent helicopter landing area established at this location. The Chester races are a very popular event, attracting huge crowds. But, looking at Google Earth images, it would appear, in the 21st century at least, that a marked helipad area has only been marked out from around 2005 to about 2009? Nothing since it seems?
