ROYAL PRESTON HOSPITAL: Private helipad

Location: Just E of the A6, about 2nm N of Preston city centre
Period of operation: Unknown? Perhaps from the 1990s?
NOTES: Just a comment. I was interested to see that in the detail picture above, the helicopter was not on the helipad. Perhaps the reason being that after delivering a casualty, and whilst awaiting further instructions, the crew had thoughtfully repositioned their helicopter, to allow use of the helipad for another HEMS helicopter.
As always, if anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this will be welcome. Pictures are always much appreciated.
