A PERSONAL MEMORY
I well remember landing here on the 4th stage of a 'Treasure Hunt' escapade organised from TOP FARM on the 28th May 1994. This was in the Piper PA-28-161 Cherokee Warrior II, G-BTKT, (ex N429FT). A great example for touring as it cruised at 130 knots, much faster than any other Warriors. The only explanation seemed to be that it was once a Piper company hack, so presumably the angle of incidence for the wing had been lowered? It certainly stalled at a slightly higher speed than a typical Warrior, but this didn't much matter in most circumstances.
