Operated by:   The Midland Autocar Company

Location:  Just E of the A452, S of the river and about 0.5nm W of Leamington Spa town centre

Period of operation:  The 3rd, 4th and 5th of July 1913

NOTES:  In May 2020 Mr Michael T Holder very kindly sent me details of this event he had found from the Leamington Spa Courier published on the 23rd May 1913. Listed under 'Amusements' it advertised that The Midland Autocar Co. had arranged for Mr. B. C. Hucks; "To give a SERIES OF FLYING EXHIBITIONS on one of the finest Monoplanes in the country".

By now I should be an expert on the subject, but without serious amounts of research I cannot be at all certain. But without too much doubt it was a Blériot.
Just two months later, at HENDON, flying a Blériot, he was the first Briton to perform a loop.

He was also conducting passenger flights and bookings could be made from the office of the Midland Autocar Co. on Russell Street or at Birch's Music Rooms.

What I suspect we will never know, is if all these plans panned out? If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.
