Note: This map only gives the position of Solihull town within the UK.

SOLIHULL: Temporary aerodrome

NOTES: On the 10^th and 11^th June 1933 Sir Alan Cobham’s No.2 Tour displayed in/near Solihull. Presumably somebody still now knows the location for this venue for what must have been a very notable local event? If so any advice will be most welcome.

On the 14^th and 15^th September 1935 Cobham’s No.1 Tour displayed in/near Solihull. Even a one day event was a major occurrence so surely a two day event on both these occasions must be recorded somewhere? See also WIDNEY ROAD.
