Location:  Just NW of South Hykeham village, 4.5nm SSW of Lincoln city centre

Period of operation:  1990s (?) to -

Runways:  11/29   535   grass         12/30   525   grass    (Has been longer)

NOTES: Yet another example to prove my definition of an airfield questionable. I had decided many years ago, that an airstrip was just that - an airstrip singular - and that any location with two or more runways should be defined as an airfield. But here we have an example with two runways orientated in similar directions. There must of course be a reason for this - but what might it be?

As always in this 'Guide', if anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.
