Stonecross Farm

STONECROSS FARM:  Private Landing Ground

NOTE:  The DH82A Tiger Moth G-ANLH was registered to this address from 02.01.2004 until 19.08.2004. The roughly E/W to NE/SW 'landing area' measures about 300 metres, which is useable with care by a Tiger Moth.

Operated by:  Presumably (?), Mr Tony R Green and Ms Sarah J Clapham

Location:  N of Mill Road, about 2nm ENE of Wellingborough town centre

Period of operation:  2004 only?

NOTES:  This Tiger Moth appears to have led an interesting life. I haven't been able to ascertain its full history, but it started off with the military serial PG637, and first being civil registered as G-ANLH 04.01.53. Later it was sold to Belgium as OO-EVO on 24.02.55 until 02.10.85, when it was restored to the U.K. register. It does not seem to have been exported, but acquired the American registration N3744F. After 2004 it was sold to New Zealand.
